Chris Blakeslee - Chief Executive OfficerChristopher Blakeslee graduated in 1971 from California State Polytechnic College, San Luis Obispo with a BS in agriculture science and a minor in viticulture. He currently holds a California General Certified Real Estate Appraiser License. His education and training prepared him for a career in agricultural and vineyard management, a career he has continuously engaged in since college. He began his career at the 23,000 acre Rio Bravo Ranch east of Bakersfield, California managing one of the largest diversified tree, vine and cattle ranches in the state. In 1979 he was recruited by Crocker Bank in San Francisco. He worked as their Agricultural Portfolio Manager and Trust Officer, managing one of the largest agricultural trust portfolios in the United States. In this position he gained further experience in appraising, acquiring, managing and selling agricultural properties, as well as in rural property development.
In 1986 Christopher formed Agricultural Advisors and Blakeslee Associates, an agricultural consulting and appraisal firm headquartered in Sonoma County. He served the needs of Sonoma County land owners and lenders for 23 years as an appraiser and consultant.
In 2003 Christopher co-founded Blakeslee & Crain Land Services, a full service real estate sales, consulting and appraisal business specializing in estate and agricultural properties in Sonoma, Napa, Marin, Solano, Lake and Mendocino counties. Blakeslee & Crain Land Services serve clients located throughout the Redwood Empire and the United States.
